NELLIE WINNIE WINDHAM
   Nellie Winnie Windham, 88, of Shelbyville died February 6, 2004 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Patroon Cemetery.   Born September 8, 1915, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of J.M. and Cora Risinger.  Mrs. Windham was married to Earl Nile Windham and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include sons, Donald Earl Windham and Billy Windham, both of Shelbyville; daughter, Betty Lanell Windham of Shelbyville.  Mangum Funeral Home.
BEN BLACKWELL
   Ben Blackwell, 82, of Center died February 9, 2004 in Center.  Burial was in Smith Cemetery.  Born June 15, 1921, in Bartlett, he was the son of Henry B. and Lois Faith Elliston Blackwell.  Survivors include his wife, Myrle S. Blackwell of Center; sons, Ben Blackwell, Jr. of Alameda, California and P. R. Blackwell of Nacogdoches; daughters, Mary Lee Blackwell and Barbara Blackwell both of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
BENNIE WILSON
   Bennie Wilson, 82, of Center died February 8, 2004 in Center.  Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Born November 17, 1921, in Shelby County, she was the son of Thomas Jewell and Willie Beatrice Nail Schillings.  Survivors include husband, Travis Wilson of Center; sons, Marcus Wilson of Center and Mickey Wilson of Nacogdoches; daughters, Jan Cruse of Huntsville and Connie Mathison of Montgomery, Alabama.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
SAMUEL CARROLL HUGHES
   Samuel Carroll Hughes, 83, of Center died February 10, 2004 in Center.   Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.   Born February 9, 1921, in Neuville, Texas, he was the son of Isaiah Richardson and Georgia Ann Hughes.  Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his first wife Muriel Stephens Hughes.  Survivors include wife, Allie R. Hughes of Center; sons, Donald Hughes of California and Samuel Timothy Hughes of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters, Georgia Elaine Crabb and Kim Hughes, both of Scio Oregon; stepdaughters, Donna Nordia, Barbar Kirsch and Paul Psihudakis. CASEY DOUGLAS WHITESIDE
   Casey Douglas Whiteside, 22, of Houston died February 9, 2004 in Houston.   Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.   Born May 8, 1981, in Center, he was the son of Douglas Windham and Carletta Kay Watson.  Survivors include father, Douglas Windham, of Timpson; mother, Carletta Whiteside of Houston; stepfather, David Whiteside of Center; sisters, Angela Ochoa of Houston, Chavaletta Whiteside of Center, Jennifer Whiteside and Tiffany Whiteside, both of Woden and Tammy Windham of Houston; brothers, Waylon Whiteside of Center, David Whiteside and Colt Whiteside, both of Woden and Lonnie Windham and Casey Crawford, both of Timpson.   Watson & Sons Funeral Home
MAXIE LOUISE ADKISON
   Maxie Louise Adkison, 67, of Nacogdoches died February 10, 2004 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson.   Born July 8, 1936, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Elzie and Dollie Hendricks Adkison.  Survivors include brothers, Joe Adkison of Huntsville, Carl Wayne Adkison of Nacogdoches, Bobby Ray Adkison of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Charles Ray Adkison of Houston; sisters, Bernice Hudman of Timpson, Sue Cox of Nacogdoches and Barbara Lindsey of Stafford.  Taylor Funeral Home.
MODELL HARRISON
   Modell Harrison, 84, of Center died February 11, 2004, in Center. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born February 14, 1919, in Center, she was the daughter of Sam Houston and Fannie Covington Smith.  Ms. Harrison was married to Earnest Harrison, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include son, Tommy Harrison of Center; sister, Daisy Beasley of Nacogdoches.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
SHERMAN POLLEY
  Sherman Polley, 90, of Center, died February 5, 2004.  Burial was in McWilliams Cemetery, Shelby County.  Mr. Polley was born December 5, 1913, in Shelby County.  He was preceded in death by his wives, Rubye Crane Polley and Joy Etta Lister Polley.  Survivors include daughters, Sherri Booth and Natalie Polley; sons, John Patrick Polley and Jeffrey Shermaine Polley all of Center.  Hicks Mortuary.
