ALTON WILKINSON Alton Wilkinson, 55, of Center, died January 9, 2015 at his residence. Interment was in Buckner Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born March 12, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Tommy Mitchell and Mozelle Wagstaff Wilkinson. He was preceded in death by his parents. BILLIE JOYCE WAGSTAFF HOOPER Billie Joyce Wagstaff Hooper, 81, of Shelbyville, died January 8, 2015 in Nacogdoches. Interment was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born February 21, 1933 in Shelby County to A. E. “Buddy” Wagstaff and Evie Lou Anthony Wagstaff. GAIL CUCULIC Gail Cuculic, 88, of Center, died January 12, 2015, at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. He was born February 15, 1926, in Huntington to Johnny Cuculic and Burney Lee Ivey Cuculic. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Gail worked at many reputable companies, mostly related to the poultry industry before settling in Center with Shelby Savings Bank, where he was president for seven years and vice chairman of the Board of Directors for twenty years. Gail has been affiliated with numerous organizations including the Lions Club, Roughrider Scholarship Foundation (Secretary), member of the Rotary Club, Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary International, Center Flying Club (Secretary Treasurer), Center Country Club (Director), Center City Council. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Theresa Cuculic.
