Ida Vice Booth, 64, of Center died January 1, 2005. Burial was in St. John Cemetery. Born September 25, 1940, in Arkansas, she was the daughter of Joe Straws and Irene Williams. Ms. Booth was preceded in death by her husband, Milford J. Booth. Survivors include mother, irene Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughters, Shirley Jones of Center, Gloria Vice and Tina K. Vice, both of Sacramento, California; son, Herbert Vice of Sacramento, California; brothers, Andrew Williams, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, David Williams of Lewisville, Joe Straws, Jr. of California James Straws of Iowa, Ray Straws and DeWayne Straws, both of Washington State; sisters, Lizzia Daniels and Lorene Martine, both of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mildred Binford of Rowlett, Elizabeth Dale of Little Rock, Arkansas, Janice Estomnd of Detroit, Pearl Mangum of California, Betty Joe Straws of Center and Yoland Straws of California. ALVIN ANTHONY COLEMAN, II
Alvin Anthony Coleman, II, 20, of Seattle, Washington died January 10, 2005 in Seattle. Burial was in Westview Cemetery, Shelby County. Mr. Coleman was the son of Reba Coleman of Tacoma, Washington.

HENRY EARL EDWARDS
Henry Earl Edwards, 72, died December 30, 2004. Burial was in McWilliams Cemetery. Born September 23, 1932, in Shelby County, he was the son of Eugene Edwards and Rosie Lee McClelland Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Ray Edwards; parents, Eugene Edwards and Rosie Lee McClelland Edwards. Survivors include children, Linda Carolyn, Alton and Willie Edwards, all of Center, Patricia Jenkins of San Augustine and Jackie Edwards of Portland, Oregon; sister, Gaynell Holman of Pinland; brothers, Raymond Edwards of Portland, Oregon, Noriss Edwards of Newton. DAVID VICKERY
David Vickery, 59, of Tenaha, died January 14, 2005, in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Ramah Cemetery. Born January 22, 1945, in Center, he was the son of David Lawrence Vickery, Sr. and Josephine Hairgrove Vickery. Mr. Vickery was a retired Shelby County Constable. Survivors include wife, Linda Vickery of Tenaha; mother, Josephine Vickery of Tenaha; son, Brad Vickery of Valleyview; daughter, Mandy Smelser of Troup. Watson & Sons Funeral Home.

S. H. FLETCHER
S. H. Fletcher, 84, of Center died January 14, 2005, in Center. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born July 1, 1920, in Rusk County, he was the son of L. Marvin and Stella Wade Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher was retired from Center ISD. He was preceded in death by his parents Mrvin and Stella Wade Fletcher. Jewel Gary, 80, of Center died January 17, 2005, in Houston. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born September 7, 1924, in Nacogdoches, she was the daughter of Otis Bently and Eula Mae Parker. Mrs. Gary was a Homemaker. She was married to Alton Gary and he preceded her in death. Survivors include, daughters, Johnnie Lock and Jimmie Hughes, both of Jasper and LaNall Moore of Center; brother, Oran Bentley of Onalaska; sisters, Lola B. EVELYN POWDRILL SMITH
Evelyn Powdrill Smith, 87, of Center died January 17, 2005, in Center. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Born January 24, 1917, in the Waterman Community, she was the daughter of George Calvin and Nettie Powdrill. Mrs. Smith was a Homemaker. MYRA A. JORDAN
Myra A. Jordan, 71, of Center died January 14, 2005, in Spring. Burial was in Mount Bethel Cemetery, Gary. Born January 15, 1933, in Panola County, she was the daughter of Eli and Vera Haynes Gibbs. Mrs. Jordan and her husband operated an auto business. She was married to Price L. Jordan, Sr., and he preceded her in death. Survivors include daughter Jill Jordan of Houston; brothers, Bill Gibbs, Charlie Gibbs and Ely Gibbs; sisters, Patti Taylor and Charlie Goss. Mangum Funeral Home.

JOHN L. DAVIS
John L. Davis, 77, of Timpson died January 19, 2005, in Timpson. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Born May 13, 1927, in Stockman Community, he was the son of John Harmon and Ella Clark Davis. Mr. Davis was a machinist with American Can. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Davis of Timpson; sons, James Davis of Houston and Jeffrey Davis of Hazen, Arkansas; daughter, Linda Solice of Timpson; sister, Dee Jones of Houston. Charles Ray Jordan, 59, died January 13, 2005. Burial was in Westview Cemetery. Born February 21, 1945, in Center, he was the son of Willie B. Jordan and Irene Lister.
