JEWELL CHANDLER BROWN Jewell Chandler Brown, 94, of Center died January 20, 2008, in Nacogdoches. Burial was in White Rock Cemetery. Born February 16, 1913, in Center she was the daughter of C.C. Hooper and Myrtie Dell Hinkle Hooper. Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her Husband Ivy E. Chandler; Parents C. C. and Myrtie Hooper; Sons, Charles Chandler, Harnell Chandler and Carell Chandler; Three Brothers and Four Sisters. Survivors include Daughters, Mary Windham of Center; Brooksie Tharp of Nacogdoches and Joy Tarver of Nacogdoches; Sons, Troy Chandler of Nacogdoches, James Chandler of Center and Tommy Chandler of Nacogdoches. JACKEY HALEY Jackey Haley, 56, of Lufkin died January 20, 2008 in Nacogdoches. Cremation was requested and Ashes buried in Old Home Cemetery. Mr. Haley was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include Ashley Galloway of Port Lavaca and Tracy Haley; Son, Chris Haley; Sisters, Estelene Foshee of Jasper, Theresa Randolph of Lufkin and Deirdre Haley of Austin; Brother, Roger Haley of Crockett. |

JIMMIE BLACKSTOCK Jimmie Blackstock, 91, of Center died January 23, 2008 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born December 20, 1916, in Shelby County, he was the son of John W. Blackstock and Nancy Elizabeth Payne Blackstock. Mr. Blackstock was a WWII Veteran, having served in the US Army. He is preceded in death by his Parents John and Nancy Blackstock; Wife Willie Bue Blackstock; daughter, Nancy Berry; Son Jimmy Randall Blackstock; Sisters, Lucille Smith, Dollie Mae Lout, Adele Smith and Odell Wagstaff; Brotherrs, Clyde and Cleron Blackstock. MORRIS D. CAMMACK Morris D. Cammack, 100, of Sarasota, Florida died January 1, 2008. Mr. Cammack was born April 3, 1907, in DeSota Parish, Louisiana. He Served with the Office of the Quartermaster General, in Washington D. C. during WWII. Survivors include Wife, Tess Cammack of Sarasota, Florida. Mr. Cammack was a Lifetime member of Shelby County Historical Society. Cremation and Ashes in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. |
