M.D. Douglas Davis Stiernberg M.D. of Texas City, Texas, dedicated physician, public servant, and American patriot, died January 20, 2015, at the age of 87. Dr. Stiernberg was born in Houston, Texas on October 14, 1927, grew up in Huntsville, Texas and graduated from high school at the age of 16 in 1944. He entered the Army Medical Corp and proudly served 26 months of active duty as a battalion aid surgeon in the 40th Infantry Division during the Korean War.
