I am searching information on John Crunk that lived in Shelby Co around 1840, his father-in-law was John May, whose daughter Louisa married John Crunk. These are my ggg. can any one help me..? Louisa and John Crunk's daughter, Lucinda Crunk, married William F. Bryant in Cherokee County Texas in 1865..my gg. Thanks

I am looking for a photo or information about the Padon Boarding House that was in Center early 1900s. The Padons, Jesse and Eugenia were my husband's great grandparents. i was looking in the Shelby history books at the Houston Clayton Gen. Library yesterday but found nothing. IRIS GREGG Iris Gregg, 54, of Center died January 29, 2006, in Center. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born June 2, 1951, in Waco, she was the daughter of Travis Cantrell and Dorthy Juanita Smith Cantrell. Mrs. Gregg was a homemaker. Survivors include husband, Robert Gregg of Center; son, Marty W. Gregg of Center; daughters, Tina Kim Grammer of Center and Martha Juanita Rose of Huntington; sisters, Ann Peters of Flowerine, Louisiana and Sherlene Cantrell of Conroe; brothers, Robert Effinger of Houston, Gary Effinger of Conroe, Dough Effinger of Marble Falls and James Effinger of Plano. DR. DAVID JONES Dr. David Jones, 78, of Nacogdoches died January 30, 2006 in Dallas. Burial was in Blair Cemetery, Timpson. Born December 1, 1927, in Celeste, he was the son of Caleb Alonzo Jones and Renna Elizabeth Buchanan Jones. Dr. Jones was a professor of music at SFA and a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, June Warr Jones of Nacogdoches; daughters, Juli Wood of Austin, Laura Bezden of Round Rock; sons, Grey Gones of San Antonio and West Jones of Longview; stepdaughter, Tara Warr Williams of Angleton; stepson, Jeff Warr of Tyler; sister, Sue Babb of Wichita Fallas; brother, Bob Jones of Tupelo, Mississippi. Mr. Battles was retired from Tipton Ford in Nacogdoches. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Iris Chandler. OMAR RAY COCKRAN, JR. Omar Ray Cockran, Jr., 59, of Tenaha died February 1, 2006, in Tenaha. Cremation was requested.
