OBITUARIES
THE REV. MARVIN CLAYTON BATTLES
    The Rev. Marvin Clayton Battles, 79, of Henderson died February 5, 2008 at his residence.  Burial was in White Rock Cemetery, Shelby County. Born January 2, 1929, in San Augustine, he was the son of Marvin A. and Jessie Della Dillard Battles.  Rev. Battles is survived by his wife, Georgia Battles of Henderson; Daughter, Jan Lake of Henderson; Sister, Thelma Brackan of Nebraska; Brother, Rev. Frank Battles of Tyler.  Rader Funeral Home.
JESSE THOMAS "TOP' BOLES, JR.
     Jesse Thomas Boles, Jr., 77, of Orange died February 5, 2008 in Orange.  Burial was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born September 9, 1930, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Jesse T,. Boles, Sr. and Maggie Baker Boles.  Survivors include Children, Greg Boles, Gary Boles and Gwen Stark, all of Linden; Sister, Melba Kelley of Orange.  Claybar Funeral Home.
GLENN W. ANSLEY
   Glenn W. Ansley, 66, of Gary, died February 5, 2008, in Tyler, formerly of Shelbyville.  Burial was in McClelland Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born November 12, 1941, in Choice, Shelby County.  Mr. Ansley was a veteran of the US Army.  Survivors include wife, Alice Chandler Ansley of Gary; Son, Tom Ansley of Willis; Daughters, Candy Ansley Nestle of Center and Allison Ansley Hartz of Waco; Brothers, Gene Ansley of Brookeland and Ray Ansley of Cleveland; Sister, Agnes Peavy of Shelbyville. Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
