John May Cemetery, also called Hooper-May
Cemetery will start Saturday, March 19, 2005, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Water and lunch will be provided. Bring your own tools, gloves, etc.
Two trailers will be provided to haul away the debris.
Many graves are unmarked. If you know anyone who is
buried at this cemetery, please submit the name(s) to Edgel Permenter, P. O.
box 326, Joaquin, TX 75952 or call 936-269-3483.

Price Cemetery Association will meet Saturday, April 2,
2005 at Lone Cedar Church on County Road 3082. Anyone who has any
family member buried at Price Cemetery (shown as
Price Lone Cedar on website list) is invited to attend. Bring a
covered dish for the meeting at 11 a.m. and lunch
afterwards. If you have any pictures, news articles, documents, etc.
regarding the cemetery or any Price Cemetery family members, make extra
copies and bring those to share. If you have any old photos that you
need help labeling, bring those, too. Come early and stay late -

Born March 23, 1923, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Ora and Allie Mae Denton Danley. Mrs. Polvadore was married to W. H. Polvadore, and he preceded her in death.
