The 30th annual Leo and Ada McSwain Memorial Family Reunion will be held in
Colmesneil Texas at the McSwain "lakehouse" on
Saturday, May 26, 2007. This reunion was started in 1978 by the
children of Leo and Ada McSwain and has been held in Colmesneil ever since.
The living children of Leo and Ada are Norma George, Odell Hart, and E.C.
McSwain. There will be family, food, pictures, and family info. Email

LENORA G. PROTHRO Lenora G. Prothro, 80, of Joaquin died March 16, 2007. Cremation was request and Ashes buried Jackson Cemetery. Born January 9, 1927, Natchitoches, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Benjamin & Mae Thomason Garcia. Mrs. Prothro was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by parents, Bennie and Mae Garcia. Survivors include daughter Brenda Grant of Joaquin; Son, Stanley Prothro of Newalla, Oklahoma; Sisters, Bennie Mae Johnson of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Bobbie Gray of Natchitoches, Louisiana. CALVIN C. HODGES Calvin C. Hodges, 81, of Amarillo died March 14, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas. Burial was in Ramah Cemetery, Shelby County. Born May 24, 1925, in Panola County, he was the son of William L. Hodges and Ella Shelton Hodges. Mr. Hodges is survived by wife, Billye Glover Hodges of Amarillo' daughters, Karen H. BLANCHE DUNCAN WILBURN Blanche Duncan Wilburn, 89, of Shelbyville died March 18, 2007. Burial was in West Hamilton Cemetery. Born August 14, 1917, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Albert Volner Duncan and Ada Blackstock Duncan.
