My great-grandparents are from the Shelby County, Tx area. They
were Henry James Fancher and Claudia Ann Dillen. They were
married in 1888. I have the family Bible with names listing his and her family members.
Henry parents were Johnson and Harriet Fancher. Her parents were J N Dillen and Martha
(Tishie) Milstead. I do know that their sons, Otis, (my grandfather), Grover and
Henry, jr (the youngest) were born in the Timpson area. There were, also, in the Bible as
listing for twins who last name was Paxton, I have no clue how they tie into the family. I
am trying to meet up with someone that know of the Fanchersor Dillens and give me some
in-sight on the family in Texas. Henry and Claudia eventually moved to Fayetteville,
Washington County, AR. That is where Henry died and is buried. Claudia moved to N LIttle
Rock until her death in the early 1960's. She is buried next to Henry in Fayetteville. I
would appreciate knowing some facts about the famly. Cathy (Fancher) Davis davismaryc@uams.edu
