BRITTIAN ALLEN THRUSTON Brittian Allen Thruston, 95, died April 19, 2011 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Martinsville. Brittian Allen Thruston was born September 25, 1915 to Henry A. and Laura Ellen Brittian Thruston. He served his country in the U. S. Navy in World War II, U. S. Coast Guard, and U. S. Merchant Marines. He spent a total of 43 years at sea, ending his career as Ship Captain in the U. S. Merchant Marines.
