Martha Louise Caddell, 89, of Tyler, Texas, died April 23, 2022 in Tyler, Texas at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Tyler, Texas. She was born in Lindale, Texas on October 16, 1932 to the late Rev. Solomon McGee and Birdie Brown McGee. Martha began her teaching career in Center, Texas in 1956 and subsequently retired there in 2004. Initially, she taught school at C H Daniels High School, but after integration she was transferred to Center Intermediate School. She was a fifth and sixth grade Music teacher. Her tenure as an Educator spanned 48 years. Martha’s career was generational, meaning that she had often taught the parents of a lot of her younger students. She was preceded in death by, Parents, Rev. Solomon and Birdie McGee; Son, James D.
