Mildred Pauline Sholmire, 85, of Dreka Community, died April 25, 2003. Burial was in Duncan Cemetery. Born March 25, 1918, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Jessie Childress Wash. Ms. Sholmire was married to Buford Sholmire, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters, Janice Furlow of Huxley and Carol Gilliland of Tyler; son, Bob Sholmire of Huxley. FRANCIS ELIZABETH MOORE
Francis Elizabeth Moore, 70, of Tenaha died April 28, 2003. Burial was in Tennessee Cemetery. Born February 17, 1933, in Timpson, she was the daughter of John Thomas and Mary Cozart Mims. Ms. Moore was married to Murry Moore and he preceded her in death.
