The long anticipated, first annual Myers Family Reunion. Be sure and mark your calendar, May 15, 2004, starting around 10:00 am. Ramah Baptist Church, between Tenaha and Payton, Texas. This will be an opportunity to visit with folks you probably haven't seen in years. Everyone should bring an old fashioned covered dish. All family members and friends are urged to attend. Buckner Extended Family Reunion. Saturday  May 8, 2004, Community Center on St Augustine Street, Center, Texas. Setting up at 9:00am but come at your convenience. Lunch at Noon. No Catering this year,  potluck.

The James M. Robertson descendants will be having a reunion on June 19, 2004, at Ramah Baptist Church near Tenaha. The program will start at 9:00 AM. Present Shelby County families include Mary Pauline Robertson Wilburn descendants:   Stella Wilburn Jacobs, and Monroe Wilburn.    Other Robertson lines are descendants of  Mollie Innes and Archie Smith Robertson , who remained  in Shelby County.  Three brothers; Joseph Neal Robertson, Robert Lewis Robertson and Houston Bascom Robertson migrated to the Garland/Mesquite/Rockwall area about 1900.   Wesley Burke Robertson went to the Galveston area.  Malcolm Newton ( Richard)Robertson and Jesse Arthur Robertson went to Corpus Christi.  We want people from all these lines to be present.  If you have not received an email or snail mail invitation please contact Reecie Stanley  by email: rstanley@ndemand.com    or 1548 CR 1021, Center, TX 75935.  I will send you all the information that you will need. Obituaries
ZELLIE MAE ADKISON
   Zellie Mae Adkison, 96, of Lufkin died May 1, 2004.  Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born January 22, 1908, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Margaret Savannah Murdock and Allen Patterson McSwain.  She was married to Ocie Adkison, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include son Doyal Adkison of Lufkin; daughter, Bobbie Jean Christian of Nacogdoches.  Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home.
DALLAS WADE CALWELL
   Dallas Wade Caldwell, 48, of Center died May 4, 2004 in London, Kentucky.   Burial was in White Rock Cemetery.   Born July 15, 1955, in Russellville, Alabama, he was the son of James Lewis and Jessie Louise Caldwell.  He was a derrick hand in the oilfield business and a US Army Veteran.  Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Caldwell of Center; sons, Dallas Joseph and William Caldwell, both of Center and Byron Wade Caldwell of Nacogdoches; stepsons, Myron Earl Williams and Tyron Glenn Frederick, both of Livingston; sisters, Pricilla Caldwell of Oklahoma and Geneva Caldwell of Alabama; brother, James Ward Caldwell of London, Kentucky.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
MARY FRANCES ADAMS
   Mary Frances Adams, 73, of Center died May 4, 2004 in Nacogdoches.   Burial was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born December 20, 1930, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Joe Elzie and Fannie Sims Dockens.  She was a homemaker.  Ms. Adams was married to Charles Cleburne Adams, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include daughter, Linda Coats of Nacogdoches; son Charles Adams of San Antonio; sister, Sally Jonell Smith of Livingston.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
JENNIE LEE WIMBERLY O'REILLY
   Jennie Lee Wimberly O'Reilly, 82, of Joaquin died May 4, 2004, in Center. Burial was in Old Center Cemetery, Panola County.  Born November 2, 1921, in Huxley, she was the daughter of James W. and Hettie Johnson Wimberly.  She was a beautician and was married to John Daniel McSwain and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include son William H. Tyler, Jr. of Cheyenne, Wyoming; daughter, Helen McSwain of Joaquin; sister, Ellen McFadden of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
JEFFERSON PAT WHEELER, JR.
   Jefferson Pat Wheeler, Jr., 79, of Pasadena formerly of Shelby County, died May 4, 2004.  Burial was in New Prospect Cemetery in Timpson.  Born March 14, 1925, in Red River, he was the son of Jefferson Pat Wheeler, Sr. and Lena Richardson Wheeler.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II.  He worked for many years for the Houston Chronicle.   survivors include sisters, Irene Wheeler Dearing of Pasadena and Jimmie Wheeler Hetzel of Houston.
