"The 31st annual Leo and Ada McSwain Memorial Family Reunion will be held in Colmesneil Texas at the McSwain "lakehouse" on Saturday, May 24, 2008. This reunion was started in 1978 by the children of Leo and Ada McSwain and has been held in Colmesneil ever since. The living children of Leo and Ada are Norma George, Odell Hart, and E.C. McSwain. STEPHEN LEE TOWNS Stephen Lee Towns, 58, of Timpson died May 5, 2008 in Timpson. Burial was in New Prospect Cemetery, Timpson. Born May 30, 1949, in the Buena Vista Community, he was the son of Robert Lee and Lois Alcine Hairston Towns. Mr. Towns was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include daughter Rhonda Kirkpatrick of Bossier City, Louisiana. Taylor Funeral Home. |
DOUGLAS I. SCHILLINGS Douglas I. Schillings, 80, of Deer Park died May 1, 2008. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, Shelby County. Survivors include sons, Steve Douglas Schillings, Earnest Daniel Schillings and Jimmy Dale Schillings. |
MARYE MCSWAIN DANLEY Marye McSwain Danley, 70, of Center, died May 7, 2008 in Center. Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery. Born September 13, 1937, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of James Roscoe McSwain and Evie Lee Dean McSwain. Ms. Danley was preceded in death by Husband, Escule Eugene Danley, Brother, James Lee McSwain. Survivors include Daughter, Tresa Konderia of Center; Sons, Shawn Rowdy Danley and David Danley, both of Center; Sister, Ima Joy Hribal of Center; Brother, J. C. McSwain of Center. MICHAEL EDWARD CANTRELL Michael Edward Cantrell, 67, of Timpson died May 7, 2008 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in New Prospect Cemetery.
