BARBARA NELL ASKINS Barbara Nell Askins, 85, of Nacogdoches, Texas, died May 26, 2016 in Garrison, Texas. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson, Texas. Barbara Nell Frazier (nicknamed "Bab") was born on September 23, 1930 to Mamie Almeda Thomasson and Herman Marion Frazier at the "Johns Place," a farm near Buena Vista, Texas on which her grandfather, Will Thomasson, worked as overseer.
