CHARLES DANIEL DEARING, SR. Charles Daniel “C. D.” Dearing Sr., 93, of Center, Texas, died June 2, 2019 in Center. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. He was born on March 24, 1926 in Port Arthur, Texas to Willis Hankla Dearing and Iva Mae Block Dearing. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was stationed on the USS Blue Ridge in the Pacific Ocean where the atomic bomb was being tested. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Infant Son, Edward Earl Dearing; 13 Brothers and Sisters. R. WAYNE WOOD R. Wayne Wood, 94, died May 27, 2019. He was born in Shelbyville, Texas on January 8, 1925 to Jessie Floyd Wood and Berneice Marie Harkness Wood. He grew up in Shelbyville and at the age of 16 was a 1941 graduate of Shelbyville High School. He served his country in the U. S. Army Air Corp during World War II. He served with pride in the United States Marine Corps.
