The Wimberly Cemetery annual homecoming will be Sunday, June 17th at 10:30 A. M. with lunch at 12 noon. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a time of food and fellowship. Singing will begin at 1 P. M. by the Shelby County Singers. All of those interested in the upkeep of the cemetery are urged to attend. Donations may be mailed to Wimberly Cemetery, 13305 FM 139, Shelbyville, Texas 75973

Newburn Cemetery Homecoming and Memorial Day
The Annual Newburn Cemetery Homecoming and Memorial Day will be held at the Newburn Cemetery on Saturday, June 30, 2007 from about 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 P. M. Everyone with an interest in the cemetery is invited to come and enjoy the fellowship with us.
Homecoming is September 28 - 29, For Center High School

Born May 1, 1926, in Pearson, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Andrew Lee and Georgia Mae Buckingham Mitchell. Ms. Green was preceded in death by Husband, John Ernest Green. Survivors include Sons, Edward Lamar Green, David Allen Green an dHampton Lee Rutland, all of Houston and Bobby Cartell Rutland of Dallas; daughters, Gail Watkins of San Augustine and Mitchell Ferguson of Livingston; sisters, Emma Rutland Powdrill of Center and Ollie Phillips of Bridgewater, New Jersey.
