Dorothy Louise Tinsley Garrison, 75, of Mauriceville, formerly of
Center, died April 25, 2009. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
She was born August 17, 1933 in Center, to John and Willie Tinsley. She
was preceded in death by, Parents; Son, Ronnie Garrison; Brother, J. T.
Tinsley; Sister, Shirley Tucker. Survivors include, Husband, Melvin
Homer Garrison of Mauriceville; Children, Michael Garrison and wife,
Betty of Orange, Gary Garrison of New York, N. Y.; Daughter-in-law,
Susan Garrison; Sister, Christie Breaux and husband, Johnny of Orange;
Brother, Roy Tinsley of Longview. Dorothy’s spirit and gentle soul were
the embodiment for a particular phrase that she loved “Sit long – talk
much.”

Helen Hardy, 90, of Center, died June 13, 2009 in Center. Burial was in
Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center. She was born June 10, 1919 in
Prescott, Arkansas to Cleve Stivers and Edith Newth Stivers. She was
