WILLIE JARRELL Willie Jarrell, 91, of Lufkin, died June 27, 2019, in Lufkin. Interment was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born October 4, 1927, in Evans, Louisiana, to Henry Clark Jarrell and Maggie Inez Whitehead Jarrell. He served his country in the United States Navy for thirty years and retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He served in World War II and Vietnam, and was also deployed in many other battles.
