I am researching the Ballards who have lived in Shelby Co. since the 1850's. Aquilla Ballard was reported killed in 1912. I would appreciate any info on this killing. Also any info on Richard Ratliff and wife Melita, maiden name Whitaker, married 1st to Willis Ballard. Married Ratliff in West Feleciana, St. Francisville La in 1836. Moved into Tx. with Ballard children in the 1850's. This site has opened so many new avenue for research. Thank You - Loretta Ballard Woods email just2dog@cox.net 2

I am looking to trace the family of my mother Gwendolyn Dell Caldwell who was born to Hugh Elvin Caldwell and Velma Orella Agnew on November 20th 1915. In particular any family of L.R. Bagwell. I have several letters and Ancestor Charts that he had sent to my mother in 1966. He had done a fair amount of work and I am anxious to find the results of his searches. thank you Marilee P. Beamer. email MARILEE.P.BEAMER@BOEING.COM 2
