Benita Kay Rhodes Whitton, 69, of Timpson, Texas, died July 30, 2022, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. SIDNEY VAN LANE
Sidney Van Lane, 79, formerly of Tenaha, Texas, died August 1, 2022, in Spring Brach, Texas.  Interment was in Tennessee Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on April 26, 1943. Raised by Emmett and Yvonne Lane outside of Tenaha, Texas in the Tennessee community.  He served his country in the U. S. Army first at Fort Polk then at Fort Hood from 1964 to 1966.  He was preceded in death, Parents Yvonne and Emmett Lane; Brother, Douglas Lane.  Survivors include, Daughter, Stephanie Lane Hankins & son-in-law Todd Hankins.
