| DANNIE BEARDEN Dannie Bearden, 69, of Timpson, died August 17, 2008 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Blair Cemetery, Shelby County. Born September 28, 1938, in the Huber Community of Shelby County, Texas, he was the son of the late John Henry and Nellie Lee Grant Bearden. Survivors include, Son, Bobby Bearden of Timpson; Daughter Donna Green of Tenaha; Brothers, Red Bearden of Center, Texas, Tommy Bearden of Willis Point, Texas, Robert Bearden of De Ridder, LA., and Johnny Ray Bearden of Wills Point; Sisters, Weta Fay Gullett of Willis Point, Emma Jean Moore of Center, Sarah Nell Combs of Overton, Texas, and Patsy Ann Bearden of Will Point. | GENE BORDERS Gene Borders, 66, of Center, died, August 19, 2008, at a Shreveport hospital. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center. He was born February 17, 1942 in Port Arthur to A.E. Borders and Susie Dearing Borders. Preceded in death by Daughter, Cheree Borders Smith.
