The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting September 18,
2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shelby County Museum located on Pecan Street. The
speaker this month will be Mr. Bill O”Neal. He will be speaking to us about
Texas in World War I. The program will consist of interviews he had students do
with people that they knew who were in WWI when he was teaching history at
Panola College. Everyone is invited to attend.

He was born November 23, 1941, in Houston, Texas, to John Barney Richerson Sr. and Selma Marie Hilligiest Richerson. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Sons, John B.
