HOMER E. JACK SMITH Homer E. Jack Smith, 68, of center died September 2, 2006 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery, Shelby County. Mr. Smith was born in 1938, in Shelby County. Survivors include wife, Velma Smith of Center; daughters, Betty Sue Graves, Jeanene Porter and Linda Scott, all of Deadwood; sons, Gene Edward Smith of Center and Douglas W. Smith of Springfield, Virginia; sister, Fannie Choate of Center. Watson & Sons Funeral Home. |
BEN BARNES Ben Barnes, 91, of Nacogdoches, formerly of Timpson died September 3, 2006. Burial was in Timpson Missionary Baptist Cemetery. Born November 22, 1914, in Zavalla, he was the son of Thomas Jefferson and Lucy Ada Walker Barnes. Mr. Barnes was a Self-employed Mechanic. He was preceded in death by hi wife Frances Rhodes Barnes. BETTY L. WARREN Betty L. Warren, 80, of Center died September 4, 2006 in Center. Cremation was requested. Born August 15, 1926. in Illinois, she was the daughter of Henry and Lueilla Sargent. Survivors include sons Donald R. Warren, Sr. of San Augustine, David R. Warren, Jr. of LaProyor; Brothers, Jim Sargent of Spear, Illinois and Bill Sarget of Clinton Illinois |
BERNICE FULTS BRADSHAW Bernice Fults Bradshaw, 88, of Center died September 4, 2006, in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Shelby County. Born October 17, 1917, in Center, she was the daughter of John Wesley Fults and Minnie Pearl Webb Fults. Mrs. Bradshaw was a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by husband, Morris Grover Bradshaw, parents; brothers, Raymond Fults. Survivors include sons, Pat Morrison Bradshaw Donny Ray Bradshaw, both of Center Chad Bradshaw, Shane Wesley Bradshaw, all of Center Misty McCraken of Timpson and Heath Woodrome of Arkansas; brother, Billy Ray Fults of Center; sister, Juanita Harkness of Nacogdoches. |
ELOISE MCMEANS Eloise McMeans, 92, of Center died September 6, 2006, in Center. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born March 20, 1914, she was the daughter of Eddie E. and Bessie Mae Crawford Keasler. Mrs. McMeans was married to J. O. McMeans, and he preceded her in death.
