He was born July 25, 1957 in Center to Drue Edwin Kennon, Sr. and Edna Gay Sigler Kennon. He was born December 28, 1922 in Center to Jacob Arthur Tomlin and Maude Stephens Tomlin. He served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II.
