The descendants of William Robert and Rachel Hicks Pate and James Robert and Mary Elizabeth Dockens Pate will hold their annual reunion Saturday, October 28th at the First Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, Center. Beginning at 10:30 AM till. Friends and relatives are invited to attend and bring a covered dish. Drinks, bread and paper goods will be furnished. Patroon
Cemetery Homecoming
will be Sunday October 15,2006.
We will have
a covered dish dinner about 12:30PM. After lunch, a memorial
Honoring Veterans buried at Patroon from the Civil War to Veitnam.
Following, will be a dedication of the Historical Marker. Everyone
is invited to come and enjoy the dinner and Dedications.
Directions: Exit SH 27 at Patroon onto FM 2261, go to driveway on Right
past the Patroon Baptist Church. The cemetery is a very short
distance after you exit SH87. For additional information contact

Marshall Road - go 5 Miles. The marker is on the right side of road. All
roads are paved.

JOY HOOPER JACKSON Joy Hooper Jackson, 85, of Joaquin died September 29, 2006, in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Jackson Cemetery. Born December 14, 1920, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Arthur and Bertha Golding Hooper. Mrs. Jackson was a Homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Julius Jackson; son, Bruce Jackson; sister, vivian Eakin Phillips. Survivors include daughter Julie Jackson Lusby of Houston. Mangum Funeral Home. |
BILLY FREDIEU Billy Fredieu, 48, of Timpson died September 23, 2006 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Hendricks Family Cemetery. Born August 25, 1958, he was the son of Horace and Stella Fredieu. Mr. Fredieu was preceded in death by his step-son, Franky Blackwell and Sister, Peggy Lea Baker. Mangum Funeral Home. |
