Linda Lee Stark Smith, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died August 20,
2011 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her cremains will be interred in
Wimberly Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born November 24, 1931 in
Huntington, West Virginia to Stanley and Ann Stark. She was preceded in
death by, Parents; Husband, James Smith; Sister, Chloe Ann Stark
Hollinger. Survivors include, Stepdaughters, Jennie Troxell (Kermitt) of
Markleville, Indiana, Sandy Crail (Roger) of Pendleton, Indiana;
Stepson, James T. Smith, Jr. (Patsy) of Ava, Missouri; Sons, Greg
Stephenson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jeff Stephenson (Debbie) of
Indianapolis, Indiana; Brother, Stan Stark (Clare) of Ironton, Ohio. She
and Jim moved from Indianapolis to Shelbyville, Texas where they built,
and for many years ran Smith's Acres, a general store with a small fish
camp. Linda also enjoyed working for the Sheriff's Office as a
receptionist.
