The descendants of William Robert and Rachel Hicks Pate will hold their 21st Annual Reunion Saturday, October 29th at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Center, Texas, beginning at 10:30AM. Friends and relatives of the Pate family are invited to attend and bring a covered dish. Drinks, Bread and Paper good will be furnished. Please bring any family photos of any family articles that would be of interest. Don't forget the silent auction table.

ESSIE MAE MCBRIDE Essie Mae McBride, 90, of Center died October 16, 2005 in Center. Burial was in Tennessee Cemetery, Timpson. Born May 5, 1915, in Garrison, she was the daughter of Jack and Ira Honea Clifton. Mrs. McBride was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Elmer McBride of Timpson; sons, Jack Liles and Jessie Liles both of Gary and Joe Liles of Pinehurst; daughter, Marvin Godwin of Gilmer; sisters, Ethel Owens of Center and Maggie Shafer of Corsicana. ANNA MUIR Anna Muir, 85, of Jericho Community died October 14, 2005 in Shelby County. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Born March 3, 1920, in Amsterdam, Holland, she was the daughter of Wybrand Crull and Maria Helena Walker Crull. Mrs. Muir was retired from the City of Houston. She ws married to Bob Muir, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters, Dea Link of Center and Dinah Pierce of Timpson; sister, Jo Hinson of Houston. THE REV. WALINE L. MOTT The Rev. Waline L. Mott, 75, of Center died October 17, 2005 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born September 9, 1930, in Zavalla, he was the son of Kerry Wesley and Lillian Simpson Mott. Rev. Mott was retired from Texas Rehabilitation Commission and married to Honey Mott, and she preceded him in death.
