The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly
meeting November 20, 2012 at 6:30 P.M. in the Shelby County Museum on Pecan
Street. The speaker this month will be Greg Grant who will talk about “Dog Trot
Houses” and some of the other interests he is involved with. Everyone is

Carmen Inez Duncan, 76, of Lakeside City, died October 27, 2012 in
Wichita Falls, Texas. Interment was in Crestview Memorial Park. Carmen
was born December 6, 1935 in Shelbyville, Texas, to Frank and Myrta

Doris Wimberly Bassett, 81, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, died October 14,
2012. No service was held as Doris wanted her body to be given to
science so it could assist the medical profession to better understand
