Dowell D. Youngblood, 81, of Center, died October 28, 2011 in Center.

Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born in Shelby County on
February 9, 1930 to Arthur Dee Youngblood and Cora McKenzie Youngblood.
Mr. Youngblood served his country in the United States Marine Corps
during the Korean War. Dowell was one of our most dependable volunteers
at the Shelby County Museum & Genealogical Library for many years. His
“museum family” is deeply saddened by his death. He was preceded in
