STANLEY Reecie Robertson Stanley, 79, of the Spann’s Chapel Community, Center, Texas, died November 2, 2015 in Houston. Interment will be in Spann’s Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born October 26, 1936 in the Ramah Community in Tenaha, Texas to Archie Byron and Eula Etta Joplin Robertson. She was a teacher for 39 years where she taught in Angleton, West Columbia, Center and Shelbyville, Texas. She loved quilting and researching her family and numerous family genealogies and histories. She became a volunteer at the Shelby County Museum in 2000 and she was a member of the Shelby County Historic Commission. Reecie was a faithful supporter of the historical society, museum and genealogy library. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Bobby L. Stanley.
