CHIEF CARSON NEWMAN PARKS Chief Carson Newman Parks, 80. died October 14, 2006. Burial was in Patroon Cemetery, Shelby County. Born November 19, 1924, in Kizer, Tennessee, he was the son of Edgar Haskel and Florence Bivens, Parks. Chief Parks was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers. He is a veteran of WWII. After the military he served in law-in-forcement. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Parks, of Carthage; sons, Edward Parks of Clayton Wade Parks of Carthage. IVA MAE ANDREWS Iva Mae Andrews, 91, of Center died November 12, 2006 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in North Jericho Cemetery, Shelby County. Born November 8, 1915, in Center, she was the daughter of Arnett and Jessie Reynolds Ogden. Ms. Andrews was retired from Center ISD, She was preceded in death by her husband, James J.
