Since the WWII exhibit was an interest to so many veterans, the museum
is planning an exhibit of Military (Korean, Vietnam, Persian Gulf,
Afghanistan and Iraq Wars) and if you, or you have relative or friend that
is a veteran or currently serving in the Reserves or Active Military,

BILLY REID BROOKS Billy Reid Brooks, 53, of Tenaha died December 22, 2005, in Tenaha. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Born March 27, 1952, in Nacogdoches, he was the son of Marlin and Joyce Boozer Brooks of Tenaha. Mr. Brooks was employed with Enron and taught English at SFA. Survivors include his mother, Joyce Boozer Brooks of Tenaha; brother, Jimmy Brooks of Tenaha; and sister Melinda White of Deer Park. Taylor Funeral Home. |
KATHLEEN DIAMOND Kathleen Diamond, 61, of Center died December 24, 2005 in San Augustine. Burial was in Folsom Chapel Cemetery. Born April 12, 1944, in Center, she was the daughter of Odis and Betty Tidwell of Center. Mrs. Diamond was a Homemaker. She was married to Bro. Lee Diamond, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include parents Odis and Betty Tidwell of Center; sons, Lee Randall Diamond of Lufkin and David Diamond of Center; daughter, Erika diamond of Center; sisters, Suzanne Taylor of Dallas and Kelli Carlton of Center; brother, Mark Tidwell of Center. ROGER "TED" SCHILLINGS Roger Schillings, 79 of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania died December 24, 2005. Burial was in Oakland Memorial Park. Mr. Schillings was the son of A.E. and Mary Schillings. Watson & Sons Funeral Home. |
HOWARD GLEN HUDGINS Howard Glen Hudgins, 75, of Timpson died December 26, 2005, in Nacogdoches. Cremation was requested. Born April 3, 1930, in Timpson, he was the son of Clyde and Vera Nix. Mr. Hudgins was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone. Survivors include wife, Barbara Parker Hudgins; daughters, Nancy Hudgins of Pettus, Martha Klein of San Antonio and Carolyn Waller of Pasadena. Garrison Funeral Home. |
MARGIE FAULK Margue Faulk, 63, of Center died December 26, 2005. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. Born April 28, 1942, in Newton County, she was the daughter of Roland and Veola Martin Wilburn. Mrs. Faulk was retired LVN. Survivors include husband, Bruce "Lefty" Faulk of Center; sons, Dennis Hutto of Baytown, Chester Hutto and Kevin Hutto, both of Center; sister, Johnnie Snider of Center; brothers, Jesse Wilburn of Nacogdoches and Kenneth Wilburn of Houston. TIM MCKNIGHT Tim McKnight, 57, of Joaquin died December 23, 2005, in Joaquin. Burial was in Willow Grove Cemetery. Born August 6, 1948, in Logansport, Louisiana, he was the son of Travis and Winifred McDaniel McKnight. Mr. McKnight was a Truck Driver. BUCK MOORE Buck Moore, 76, of Logansport, Louisiana, died December 29, 2005 in Shreveport. Burial was in Joaquin Cemetery. Born March 12, 1929, in Arp, he was the son of James and Ida Mae Moore. Mr. Moore was a retired as a Baptist Minister and a truck driver. Survivors include sons, James R. Moore and J. D. Moore, both of Joaquin and Paul R. Moore of Logansport; daughters, Kathy Bayles of Dublin, Georgia and Sherron Anthony of Dayton; brothers Bobby Moore and Alvin Moore. Mangum Funeral Home. |
CHRISTENE WATTS MCCLELLAND Christene Watts McClelland, 77, of Center died December 20, 2005 in Center. Burial was in Rather Cemetery. Born March 17, 1928, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Herman and Earnestine Watts. Mrs. McClelland was married to Jimmy McClelland and he preceded her in death.
