Bartle Funeral Home was founded in 1966 by V. F. Bartle and his son David Bartle.  Vernon Bartle was employed by Mangum Funeral Home prior to his construction of the Bartle Funeral Home located at 815 Hurst Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas.  Upon the death of Mr. Bartle, the funeral home was operated by his son, David.  In 1997, Bill Watson purchased the funeral home.  The information on this site is provided by Mr. Bill Watson.
