Ranger Charles Neel

Charles Arthur “Charlie” Neel was born December 29, 1933 the son of Adolphus and
Vinetta Ramsey Neel. He married Gloria Ann Grainger of Timpson, Texas July 19,
1957.
Charlie entered Texas Department of Public Safety January 3, 1957. He served
Texas Highway Patrolman at Beaumont and Lufkin, 1965 served as Region II
Polygraph Operator. He transferred to Texas Ranger Service April 1, 1966 and was
stationed in Houston and Lufkin Texas. He was with Department of Public Safety
for twenty years.
