The cemetery is located on FM 2428 between Highway 84 and Highway 7. It was established in 1914 on land donated by George H. Stephens and his wife Ruth Adaline Truitt Stephens. The first person buried in the cemetery is Franklin C. Reeves on August 12, 1914.
