To reach the cemetery take Highway 96 South from Center to San Augustine. About 9-1/2 miles is a dirt road, County Road 1021, turn East for about 1/2 mile to the Farm of Bobby Stanley. The Cemetery is located on private property.
The Stanley Family Cemetery was started in the front yard of William Jasper Stanley in 1898. He moved to East Texas after the Civil War. He was a soldier in the CSA and surrendered at the Battle of Vicksburg.
