G. DOCTOR J. PERMENTER, seventh child of Gray and Mary Permenter, was born in 1856 in Arkansas. He married EMMA (last name unknown). She was born in 1871 in Louisiana. On May 5, 1899 he obtained a Land patent for 79.85 acres in Sabine Parish, Louisiana and on December 30, 1905 obtained and additional 79.85 acres. In the 1880 census of Shelby County, Texas he is listed with his brother John F. M. Permenter family. Emma Permenter died in 1940. Doctor died in 1933. Both are buried in Bethsadia Cemetery, Sabine Parish, Louisiana.
