B.  JOHN FRANCIS MARION PERMENTER, second child of Gray and Mary Permenter, was born in1850 in Mississippi.  He married first VALERIA SMITH on October 29, 1874 in Webster Parish, Louisiana.  She was born in 1846 in Louisiana.  She died before 1886 and her burial place is not known.  

The children of John Francis and Valeria Smith Permenter:

1.  MYRA LOU PERMENTER, first child of John Francis and Valeria Permenter, was born July 29, 1876 in Minden, Louisiana.  She married JOHN LORIN STRONG on June 9, 1894 in Shelby County, Texas.  Myra Lou died on May 2, 1972 in Elgin, Bastrop County, Texas and is buried in Ridgeway Cemetery, Bastrop County, Texas.

The children of John and Myra Lou Strong:

a.  HENRY WARNELL STRONG, first child of John and Myra Lou Strong, was born May 2, 1898 in Fordtrend, Victoria County, Texas.  He married EULA JANE PARKER on July 2, 1929 in Austin, Travis County, Texas.  She was born January 29, 1901 and died on August 3, 1994.  He died on November 15, 1967 in Austin, Travis County, Texas.

The children of Henry and Eula Parker Strong:

b.  JENNINGS BRYAN STRONG, second child of John and Myra Lou Strong, was born January 10, 1900 in FORDTREND, Victoria County, Texas..  He married RUBY WARD on December 22, 1930 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.  She was born April 29, 1914 in Temple, Bell County, Texas.  Jennings died on June 5, 1990 in Tarpley, Bandera County, Texas. Ruby died on November 1990 in Temple, Bell County, Texas.

c.  CLARENCE ARTHUR STRONG, third child of John and Myra Lou Strong, was born December 19, 1902 in Pettus, Bee County, Texas.  He married MABLE BLACKWELL on December 20, 1932 in McDade, Bastrop County, Texas.  Mable was born April 2, 1899 in McDade, Bastrop County, Texas and died in April 1987 in McDade, Texas.  Clarence died in October 1985 in McDade, Texas.

d.  FERRELL COOK STRONG, fourth child of John and Myra Lou Strong, was born October 13, 1904 in Pettus, Bee County, Texas.  He married LORENA WHITE on July 8, 1935.  She was born September 4, 1912 and died September, 1990.  Ferrell died on January 12, 1977. 

e.  TRUMAN STRONG, fifth child of John and Myra Lou Strong, was born September 20, 1906 in Cadis, Bee County, Texas.  He died on March 24, 1911 in Bastrop County, Texas.

John Francis married second time MARY OZELLA MICKLEBERRY on July 27, 1886 in Shelby County, Texas. She was born November 10, 1858 and was the daughter of  MARK and JANE ADAMS MICKLEBERRY.  Mary died on January 14, 1951 and is buried in Johnson- Fellowship Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas. John Francis Permenter died before 1900 and his burial place is unknown.

4.  JOHN WINDOM PERMENTER,  first child of John and Mary Permenter, was born on April 11, 1894 in Texas.  He married JOSIE LEE SIMS on March 5, 1916 in Shelby County, Texas.  She was born January 5, 1896 in Louisiana.  She died on June 22, 1973 in Shelby County,  John Windom died on February 18, 1946.  Both are buried in Johnson-Fellowship Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas.

c.  HAROLD LOYD PERMENTER, third child of John and Josie Permenter, was born ca 1921.  He married MARY ANNETTE LAWRENCE ca 1948.
