        Joe George was principal in in 1931-32 $120 mo.-- the teachers were Elizabeth Powell- $85 mo., W.H. Matthews (substitute) $108 mo., Neva Bradberry- $85.mo., Lucy McLendon (substitute) $85. mo. Wood for the school this year was purchased from Otto Campbell and M.A. Hendricks.
        The Huxley school consolidated with Strong School after the 1948-1949 school term and the school land was ordered sold for $300.00
        The 1937 term was taught by W.G. Harris, principal with salary $110; Teachers were, Bennie Mae Swanzy, $81; Pearl Buckley, $79; Etta Vaughn, $90. Elizie Fleming took the school census and was paid $4.68.
