1928 Eagle Mills School #36

Shelby County Texas

        The first record of Eagle Mills School #36 was in 1893.  The building was located near the railroad tracks near Paxton.  In 1948 the school consolidated with Paxton #89, but the students went to Joaquin School.  Additional information on the school can be found the Shelby County History, Volume 1, article by Mattie Dellinger.
