Carroll Town School

At one time there was a Carrolltown, complete with its own school. This photo was taken by C. H. Caldwell, shows the scholars of that institution when Henry Wharton was a Teacher. It was taken probably in the late 1890's or early 1900's.
Those shown, (not in order), include C. D. Ballard, Mack Ballard, Callie Green, Bula Green Magie Green and the following students with the last name of Carroll: Tine, Tom, Mollie Lillie, Nannie, Lizzie, Ora, May, Alva, Kate, Maggie, Sallie and John.
