Old Center University

Center University was created by an Act of the Texas Legislature- the exact date is not known, but records show that it was in operation during the 1890's and these men were some of the first trustees of the University:
L.G. McClendon, A.G. McClendon, A. G. Brooks, W.G. Paxton, M. J. Harvey, P. G. Swearingen, Drury Fields, B. F. Bridges and John Sanders. The students in the photo are not identified. If you can identify email rayjac1@sbcglobal.net
