Vicki (Files) Jernigan, 63, of Center, Texas, died March 17, 2025, in Center, Texas.  Interment was in Prude Cemetery, Stanley, Louisiana.  She was born on May 19, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Gerald Files and Jackie (McCullough) Files.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Birth mom, Shirley Laden; Brother, Mark Bailey.  Survivors include, Husband, Adam Jernigan; Daughter, Rachal Miller and husband Cammron; Brothers, Jim Files and wife Amanda, Ronnie Bailey.

RICHARD ALLAN BROWN
Richard Allan Brown, 67, of Center, Texas, died March 21, 2025. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born November 9, 1957 to Charles Dean Brown and Shirley Ruth Head Brown who preceded him in death.  Survivors include, Wife, Tina Lawson Brown of Center; Children, Chad Brown and wife Brandi of Nacogdoches, Eric Brown of Center, Loren Clifton and husband Russell of Lufkin; Sisters, Dr. Debrah Worsham and husband Phil of Joaquin, Karen Fallin and husband David of Tenaha; Brothers, Randy Brown and wife Holley of Tyler, Keith Brown of Center, Bradley Brown and wife Kerrie of Center.

BARBARA JEAN SIGLER CRUSE
Barbara Jean Sigler Cruse, 81, of Center, Texas, died March 23, 2025, Bronson, Texas.  Interment was in Short Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on October 21, 1943, in Center, Texas, to Wesley Griffin and Louise (Campbell) Griffin. She was preceded in death by, Husbands, Fred Cruse, Charles Sigler; Parents; Brothers, Johnny Griffin, Burnice Griffin, Ray Griffin; Sisters, Billie Watson, Bobbie Campbell Roberts, Brooksie Tindoll, Beverly Hendricks; Brothers-in-laws, Troy Roberts, George Schull, Royce Tindoll, Larry Hendricks.  Survivors include, Children, Leisha Sowell and husband, Jerry Meldrum, Donald Sigler and wife, Melissa, Mary Elizabeth Mitchell and husband, John, Amy Windham and husband, James; Brother, Ben “Bo” Griffin; Sisters, Betty Schull, Dolly Ann Cloudy; Sister-in-law, Ileen Griffin.

SAM W. LANE, JR.
Sam W. Lane, Jr., 89, died Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Center. Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  He was born February 26, 1936, in Austin, Texas, to Sam W. Lane, Sr. and Irene Childs Lane.  He spent his early years in Center, Texas, with his aunt and uncle, Judge Wardlow Lane and Lois Lane.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Wardlow Lane II.  Survivors include, Wife, Frances; Sister-in-law, Linda.

BRADLEY LAMAR LATHAM
Bradley Lamar Latham died at the age of 43.  Interment will be in Folsom Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County.   He was preceded in death by, Grandparents, Jack and Edith Hughes; Pawpaw George and Granny Vera; Lamar Latham.   Survivors include, Wife, Yolanda Latham; Daughter, Gracelyn; Parents, Randy and Angela (Hughes) Latham; Brother, Bryant Latham and wife Ashley and their sons, Easton and Kannon, all of Tenaha; Brothers-in-law Earl and Martin Fish; Mother and Father-in-law, Kent and Diana Fish, all of Plymouth, IN.
