Michael David Mills, 77, of Martinsville, died January 6, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.  Interment was in Martinsville Cemetery, Nacogdoches County.  He was born September 4, 1947 to Milton “Erette” Mills and Dorothy Layton Mills in Nacogdoches.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Stepdad Rex Martin.  Survivors include, Wife, Marilyn Fuller Mills; Daughter, Stacy McShane.

 

 

 

JOHNNY METCALF
Johnny Metcalf, 58, of Deadwood, Texas, died January 9, 2025.  Interment was in Deadwood Cemetery.  He was born December 21, 1966 in Center, Texas to Doris Thompson and Melvin Metcalf.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Stepfather, Billy Ray Thompson, Sr.  Survivors include, Wife, Renee Metcalf; Children, Caleb Metcalf & wife, Kandace, Lani Kendrick & husband, Chris, Ashley Whitaker & husband, J.C.; Hunter Dale LaGrone & wife, Alexx, Jasey “Birdy” Williams & husband, Lance; Brothers, M.C. Leslie Gene Anderson, 77, of Timpson, died January 14, 2025.  Interment was in Ramah Cemetery, Tenaha.  He was born on May 7, 1947, in Wisconsin to Clarence and June Hop Anderson.  He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968 where he served a tour in Vietnam.  He was preceded in death by, Son, John Anderson; Parents.  Survivors include, Wife, Mary Adams Anderson; Sons, James Anderson & wife Pam of Alvin, Texas, Joe Anderson & wife Amanda of Tenaha, Texas; Brother, Wayne Anderson & wife Becky of Clovis, New Mexico.
