SAMMIE LEE WILLIAMS
Sammie Lee Williams, 86, of Nacogdoches, Texas, died June 17, 2025. Interment was in Westview Cemetery, Center, Texas.  He was born on February 27, 1939, to the late Thomas and Louella Lane Williams in Center, Texas,(Flatfork  community).  Survivors include, Children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, siblings and friends.

FREDA A. RICHARD
Freda A. Richard, 50, died June 14, 2025.   Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Timpson, Texas.  She was born to the late Alfred Dale Richard and Dorothy Ree Richardson-Richard on January 05, 1975. She graduated from Timpson High School in Class of 1993. She was preceded in death by, Father, Alfred Dale Richard. Survivors include, Mother, Dorothy Richard of Timpson; Sister, Shelia Richard of Timpson; Brother, Kelvin Richard (Sherdale) of Timpson; Sister, Felicia Jackson (Kenneth) of Timpson; Daughters, Samaria Richard, Dorothea Robberson.

KARL MILLER
Karl Miller, 63, died May 25, 2025. He was born April 28, 1962.  Mr. Miller was a science teacher, an outstanding educator, and well respected member of the Center High School family.  A celebration of his wife well-lived will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 27, 2025 in the Center High School Cafeteria, 658 Rough Rider Drive, Center, Texas 75835.  Survivors include, Wife, Angie, and his children and grandchildren.

NADINE STEPHENS LAWSON
Nadine Stephens Lawson, 90, of Center, Texas, died June 20, 2025, at her home in Antioch Community.  Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Shelby County.   She was born April 25, 1935, to Ira and Mary Stephens.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Forriest Lawson; Brothers, J. L. Stephens, Ray Stephens; Sister, Dorthy Stephens Vaden; Son-in-law, Richard Allan Brown.  Survivors include, Children, Royce Lawson and wife, Angela, Garry Lawson and wife, Kay, Tina Lawson Brown,

BARRY JOE HORTON
Barry Joe Horton, 74, died June 15, 2025, in Tyler, Texas.  He was born on January 12, 1951, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Arthur and Irene Bailey Horton.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include, Children, BJ Horton and wife, Amanda, Chase Horton and wife, Pati; Former wife, Anita Overhouse and husband, Jeff; Sibling, Hal Horton and wife, Arlene.

LARRY O’NEAL SAMPLE
Larry O’Neal Sample, 69, of Center, Texas, died June 20, 2025, in Center. Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Shelby County, He was born June 23, 1955, to P. O. and Odell Sample.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include, Wife, Debbie Sample; Children, Patrick Sample and Alex Romero, Stephanie and Justin Harkness, Ashley and Grant Hill, Mary and Wayne Alford, Chris and Becky Peurifoy; Sisters, Cathy Brittain, Debbie and Billy Snider.

HELEN DAYLE HOBBS WEIBLE
Helen Dayle Hobbs Weible, 71, died on June 20, 2025, in Shelbyville, Texas.  She was born on March 18, 1954, in Jonesville, Louisiana.  She was preceded in death by, Parents, Eddie and Mary Hobbs; Brothers, J.C. Hobbs, Burlon Hobbs, Howard Hobbs, Edward Hobbs; Sisters, Marylou Hobbs Townsend, Rosa Nell Hobbs Trim, Sylvia Hobbs Smith.  Survivors include, Husband, Jon Weible; Daughters, Tina Feaster, Becky Adkison and Jeff Davis, Brandy Rambin and husband Chase; Brother, James Hobbs and wife, Joyce.

JESSICA RACHELLE JOHNSON
Jessica Rachelle Johnson, 36, of Center, died June 23, 2025, in Center.  Interment was in Buckner Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born December 13, 1988, in Galveston. On September 29, 1989, at the age of nine months, she was placed into the care of Beamon and Evone Johnson. The two soon adopted her. Jessica attended Center ISD.  She was preceded in death by, Grandparents, Doyle and Agnes Johnson, and Ellis and Dovie Hall.  Survivors include, Parents, Beamon and Evone Johnson of Center; Sister, Rosie Johnson of Center; Brother, Robert Darrell Johnson and wife Veronica of Gilmer.

Lucinda Richards, 54, of Center, died June 23, 2025, in Center.  Interment will be in White Rock Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born October 5, 1970, to Bazell E.D. Wanda Fay Mathes Johnson, 84, of Joaquin, died June 24, 2025, in Joaquin.  Interment wil be in Old Home Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born May 23, 1941, in Sugarland, to Allsey Mathes and Pearl Mae Hard Mathes.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Allen D. STACEY TREMAINE CRAWFORD
Stacey Tremaine Crawford, 49, died June 13, 2025. ROBERT L. “BOBBY” GARRETT
Robert L. “Bobby” Garrett, 89, of Logansport, Louisiana, died June 20, 2025, at his residence.  Interment was in O. E. Price Cemetery, Logansport, Louisiana.  He was born November 30, 1935, in Kilgore, Texas, to Robert Levi Garrett and Edna Daughtry Garrett. He served in the United States Army.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Ouida Gail Garrett; Parents; Brothers, Douglas Garrett, Randel Garrett, Parker Lee Garrett.  Survivors include, Children, Rev. Eric L. Garrett and wife Denise of Joaquin, Sue Sue Boyett and husband Jeremy of Logansport, Louisiana, Robert Marc Garrett of California; Sisters-in-law, Linda Garrett, Pat Garrett.
