Janie Faye Johnson, 73, died February 27, 2026.  She was born on February 06, 1953 to Coleman Sr. and Ellawee Johnson.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Johnny Lee, Jarvis, C. J., Vester, Tommy; Sister-in-law, Gloria Johnson.  Survivors include, Daughter, Aretha Johnson; Son, Michael Johnson; Brothers, Coleman Jr. (Annie), Donny Johnson; Bonus Brother, Terry Harris (Benita); Bonus Daughters, Sophia Small, Angela Land; Sisters-in-Law: Annie, Ella Fay and Iva; Special Sisters: Nancy Lane and Diann Garrett.

Services are entursted to Community Funeral Home, Center, Texas.

WILLIAM KEITH BROWN
William Keith Brown, 58, of Center, Texas, died March 5, 2026, at his home in the Waterman community.  Interment was in White Rock Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born November 18, 1967, in Nacogdoches, to Charles Dean Brown and Shirley Ruth Head Brown.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Richard Allan Brown.  Survivors include, Children, Luke Brown and wife Kendall, Chloe Brown Jeffcoat and husband Ryan; Sisters, Dr. Debrah Worsham and husband Phil, Karen Fallin and husband David; Brothers, Charles Randy Brown and wife Holley, Stephen Bradley and wife Kerrie; Sister-in-law, Tina Brown; Mother of his children, Beth Brown Livingston.

NANCY LYNN (PARKER) PEDERSON
Nancy Lynn (Parker) Pederson, 83, of Waco, died March 5, 2026 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco.  Interment was in White Rock Cemetery near Ross.  She was born October 14, 1942 in Center, Texas, to Sallie (Young) and Heber C. Parker.  She graduated from Center High School in 1960.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, James Perry "Jimmy" Parker; Sisters-in-law, Reeta Sue Willeford and Kathryn Marie Turner; Brothers-in-law, John Magnus Pederson, Sam Newt Pederson, Oliver Britton Willeford, and Robert A. Turner.  Survivors include, Husband, Paul Pederson; Sisters-in-law, Bobbie Pederson, Alice Parker, Anne Mallory.

JOYCE MARIE HENDRICKS
Joyce Marie Hendricks, 72, of Shelbyville, Texas, died March 7, 2026, in Center, Texas.  Interment was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on May 4, 1953, in Center, Texas, to Jack Yates and Helen (Holt) Yates.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Father and Mother-in-law, Luther and Connie Hendricks; Brother and sister in-laws, Prentice Hendricks, L.E. Hendrick & wife, Ima Hendricks.  Survivors include, Husband, Verbon Hendricks, Sons, Luke Hendricks and wife Carriston, Bryan Hendricks and wife Jordan; Daughter, Kim Cater and husband Jeff; Brothers, Terry Yates and wife Linda, Billy Yates and wife Janet; Sister-in-law, Thelma Hendricks.

Johnny Dodson, 73, of Center, died March 9, 2026, in Nacogdoches.  Interment was in Good Hope Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born July 12, 1952, in Center, to  Jesse Dodson and Mary Agnes Thedford Dodson.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Sister, Jessie Dodson; Brother, Tommy Dodson; Sister, Mildred Vaughn; Sons, Danny Joe Dodson, Dana Poole and Stepson Clint Fenton.  Survivors include, Wife, Joann Dodson; Children, Keith Askew and wife Michele, Faitha Bourn and husband Craig, Angela Cruse and husband Dewayne, David Dodson and wife Ashlen; Daughter-in-law, Charmin Dodson.

Barbara June Hooper, 80,  died March 06, 2026. Interment was in Wimberly Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on April 14, 1945, in the Bethel Community of Logansport, Louisiana, to Louis and Rellie Creech. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband; Siblings, Lawrence Manning Creech, Nita Tatum, Linda Ann Hughes; In-laws, Arnold and Annie Sue Hooper.  Survivors include, Son, Wade (Katie); Brother-in-law, Joe Hooper.

CLAUDIE RAY GARRETT
Claudie Ray “Red” Garrett, 90 of Houston, Texas, died March 2, 2026. Interment was in Thompson Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born to the late Charlie Netherly and Beatrice Garrett.  Survivors include, Sons, Milton Garrett of Houston, Michael Garrett of Houston, Alvin Garrett of Houston; Daughter, LoWanda Garrett of Houston; Brother, Charles Ray Netherly (Doris) of Center; Sister, Hattie B Horton (Greg) of Shelbyville.

STEVE EARL FRANKS
Steve Earl Franks, 80, of Timpson, died March 04, 2026, in Jasper.  Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born on April 29, 1945, in Center, to Hoy and Adelle Franks.  He graduated from Timpson High School. He was preceded in death by, Wife, Waidean Ruth Franks; Parents, John Thomas “Hoy” and Adelle (Powdrill) Franks; Daughter, Annette Christine Franks; Son, Steven Earsal Franks; Sister, Evangeline Williams; Brother, John Richard Frank.  Survivors include, Wife, Betty Lou (Hill) Franks; Son, Jim Franks; Sister, Mary Magness.
