Aretha Machell McCollister, 59, of Center, died June 20, 2026 at the Nacogdoches Medical Center - Shelby County Emergency Room in Center.  She was preceded in death by, Mother, Lena Mae Polley; Sisters, Darlene McCollister, Shirley Goodwin; Brothers, Patrick Polley, Fitzgerald Adams, Hilton Lee Polley.  Survivors include, Special Friend, Earl McMillan; Father, Billy Earl Cartwright; Daughters, Latosha McCollister of Arlington, Texas, LaShasta McCollister of Center; Sisters, Stephanie Polley of Nacogdoches, Lemetra Cartwright of Center, Jennifer Griffin of DeSoto, Texas, Cynthia Cartwright of Houston; Brothers, Patrick Cartwright of Dallas,
Billy Cartwright, Jr. of Tenaha.

DELSIA POWELL
Delsia Powell, 88, of Shelbyville, Texas, died June 24, 2026, in Center, Texas.  Interment was in West Hamilton Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on February 7, 1938, in Shelbyville, Texas, to Clarence H. Denby and Lela (Wilburn) Denby. She  graduated from Shelbyville High School.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Bob Powell; Parents; Brothers, Bill Denby, Lamar Denby; Sister Larlee Garrison.  Survivors include, Daughter, Brenda Yates and husband Pat; Son, Rick Bailey; Sister, Ruby Risinger.

DOYCE HINTON
Doyce Hinton, 92, died June 27, 2026, in Gilmer.  Interment was in Brookland Cemetery, Joaquin, Texas.  He was born June 17, 1934, in Joaquin, to George Arthur Hinton and Orene English Hinton.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Shirley Ann Hinton; Parents; Brother, David H. Hinton.  Survivors include, Children, Bruce Hinton and wife Mary, Lisa Hinton Woodfin and husband Guy, Scott Hinton and wife Jamie.

HAROLD JAMES ALLEN
