Weldon Leo English, 95, of Center, died January 1, 2026, in Nacogdoches. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. He was born July 20, 1930, in Shelby County, to John Huley English and Lottie Swan Melton English. He served in the United States Army from 1947 to 1950 and in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954. She was preceded in death by, Father, Jesse Jones; Maternal grandparents, Sidney and Emma Mena; Paternal grandparents, Jesse and Willie Ruth Jones. Deidra has already been cremated, honoring her wishes. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
