SHELBY KARIANN CARROLL---Funeral For Shelby KariAnn Carroll, 10, of Timpson was held January 8, 2002 in First Assembly of God Church, Timpson.  Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.  Shelby died January 5, 2001 in Timpson.   Born August 15, 1991, in Lawton, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Shane and Betty Carroll Clifton of Timpson.  She was a third-grade student at Christian Learning Center, in Center.  In addition to her parents, survivors include maternal grandparents, Paul and Donna Carroll of Timpson; paternal grandparents Eugene and Janice Clifton of Nacogdoches; brother Kyle Clifton of Timpson; sisters Krissy Carroll and Ashley Clifton, both of Timpson.  Taylor Funeral Home.
URSULA MARGOT PARRY---Memorial service for Ursula Margot Parry, 58, of Port St. Lucie, Florida at Watson Funeral Home.  Burial was in McClelland Cemetery, Shelby County.  Mrs. Parry died December 30, 2001 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  Born November 5, 1943 in Germany, she was the daughter of Fritz and Lieselotte Oehler Weihert.  She was married to James David Parry, Sr. and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include son, James David Parry of Center and James Christopher Parry of St. Lucie, Florida; and three grandchildren.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
SAMUEL GARRETT---Funeral services for Samuel Garrett, 64, at Community Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial was in Westview Cemetery.  Mr. Garrett was born July 23, 1928 to Prince Qually and Rovester Wade Garrett. He died December 26, 2001.  Mr. Garrett is survived by his brothers, Prince J.W. Garrett of San Augustine; Elbee Garrett of Center, Rev. Aaron Garrett, Joe Nathan Garrett of Morton, Texas; sisters, Lamerle Suel and Betty Garret of Center, Laverne Harrison and Elouise Miller of Marton; and a host of relatives and friends.  Community Funeral Home.
MYRTIS CRUMP---Graveside services for Myrtis Crump, 93, of Joaquin, was held January 9, 2002 in Sholar Cemetery.  Mrs. Crump died January 7, 2002 in Center.  Born July 12, 1908, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Robert and Melvine Scott Lilly.  She was a retired as a cafeteria worker for Joaquin ISD.  She was married to Robert M. Crump and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include sons, Randall Crump and Robert B. Crump both of Joaquin; daughters, Melba Plagesn of Conroe and Sally Crump of Joaquin; and 23 grandchildren.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
KELLY SUE MCENANEY MITCHELL---Funeral for Kelly Sue McEnaney Mitchell, 37, of Denver, Colorado, was held January 11, 2002 in Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, San Augustine.  Burial was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County.  Ms. Mitchell died January 5, 1002 in Denver, Colorado.   Born September 6, 1964, in Santa Monica, California, she was the daughter of Kenneth McEnaney and Shirley Fazekas.   She was a Nurse.  Survivors include mother, Shirley McEnaney of Shelbyville; father, Kenneth McEnaney of Murrayville, Georgia; sisters, Sherri Brittain of Nacogdoches and Shana McEnaney of Murrayville, Georgia; brothers, Damon McEnaney of Beaverton, Oregon and Lane McEnaney of Denver.  Wyman Roberts Funeral Home
CARROLL FRED NETTLES---Graveside service for Carroll Fred Nettles, 70, of Shelbyville, was held January 10, 2002 in Latham Cemetery, Shelbyville.  Mr. Nettles died January 8, 2002 in Pine Grove Nursing Home.  Born March 10, 1922, in Sabine County, he was the son of Carroll R. and Lillie Mae Lout Meeks Nettles.  he was married to Mildred Greer Nettles, and she preceded him in death.  Survivors include sons, David Nettles, of Center and Tommy Nettles of Houston; daughter, Elizabeth Nettles of Houston; sister Frances Fountain of Lufkin; and numerous other relatives and friends.  Mangum Funeral Home.
ANNIE B. COLLINS---Services for Annie B. Collins, 88, of Center, were held January 5, 2002 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Mrs. Collins died January 3, 2002 in Shelby Regional Hospital.  Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.   Born October 30, 1913, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Willis Adam and Callie Renfro Bradshaw.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Callie Bradshaw; husband R.B. Collins; son, Jack Collins; and brother George Bradshaw.  Mrs. Collins is survived by her daughter, Sue Smith of Brenham, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends. 
EVELYN RUTH ROGERS---Funeral services for Evelyn Ruth Rogers, 82, of Center were held January 11, 2002 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel.   Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.  Ms. Rogers died January 6, 2002.  Born June 4, 1919 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Will J. and Tippie Caraway Rogers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Tippie Rogers; sister Mary Lee Quinn; brother Ed Rogers.  She is survived by her nephew Dennis Quinn of Irving, Texas;  and numerous other relatives and friends.
LESTER EARL BLOYER---Graveside service for Lester Earl Bloyer, 69, of Jasper, was held January 10, 2002 in McClelland Cemetery.  Mrs. Bloyer died January 8, 2002 in Houston.   Born May 1, 1932 in Portland, She was the daughter of Lester Allancin and Nina Abrigale McKinney.  She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Methodist.  Survivors include daughter, Melissa Bartlett of Lancaster, South Carolina and Lou Ann Lightner of Georgia; sisters Dorothy Howell of Alaska and Melvin Bloyer of Jasper; and numerous other relatives and friends.  Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.
