LINDA SUSAN SHELTON
Linda Susan Shelton, 71, of Joaquin, died January 23, 2025, in Joaquin.  Her wishes were to be cremated.  She was born August 20, 1953, in Miami, Florida, to Charles Bogg and Marjorie Maple Chapman Bogg.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Kenneth Shelton; Parents; Brother, Jeff Bogg.  Survivors include, Children, Candace Barber & husband Shane of Joaquin, Chance Porter & wife Alyson of Center, Kenny Shelton & wife Stephanie of Florida; Sister, Patty DiSinea & husband Jim of Houston; Sister-in-law, Lynn Barber.

JASON COLT BUSH
Jason Colt Bush, 42, of Center, Texas, died January 23, 2025, in Center, Texas. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  He was born on May 27, 1982, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Dewayne Bush and Katha Hitt Bush.  He graduated from Center High School in 2000. He was preceded in death by, Father-in-law, Rick Magee.  Survivors include, Wife, Collin Bush; Children, Carson Bush, Cambree Bush; Father, Dewayne Bush & wife Jeneane; Mother, Katha Bush; Brothers, Charles Bush & Danielle Prince, Clayton Bush & wife Kristen; Mother-in-law, Candace Cowherd.

Margaret Lynn Raybon
Margaret Lynn Raybon, 50, of Joaquin, died January 25, 2025, in Nacogdoches.  Interment was in Willow Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born December 1, 1974, in Henderson, to Larmie Blount and Clara Dennis Blount.  Survivors include, Husband, James Raybon; Children, Sidney Smith & husband Tristian, Bryant Harville & wife Simone, Vincent Raybon & wife Heather Pauley; Parents.

JACK MICHAEL GREEN
Jack Michael “Mike” Green, 73, of Timpson, Texas, died January 24, 2025, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in Tennessee Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born September 1, 1951, in Timpson, Texas, to John Perry and Jaunita Green. He graduated from Timpson High School in 1969.  He was preceded in death by, Parents;  Brother, Jerry Green.  Survivors include, Wife, Barbara, of Timpson; Children, Craig Green & wife Gracie of Tenaha, Kerry Thrift & husband Mike of Timpson, Misty Hudspeth & husband Jerry of BoBo Community, Kyle Green & wife Amanda of Krum, Texas.
Services are under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home, Timpson, Texas.

EDRIE EARLE PARSONS
Edrie Earle Parsons, 101, of Center, Texas, died January 26, 2025, in Center, Texas. She was born on October 19, 1923, in Bertram Texas (the Hill Country), to Herbert Hall and Zula (Stewart) Hunt.  For the last 14 years of her life, Edrie lived with her daughter Lynda K Russell here in Center, Texas.  She was preceded in death by, Husbands, Leroy Parsons, Buddy Johnson; Parents; Son, LeMoyne Parsons, Brother, Harold Hunt, Sister, Mildred Fisher.  Survivors include, Daughters, Sharon Spicer & husband Jim, Lynda K. Russell & husband Jay White.

ALFRED JAY WITTMANN
Alfred Jay "Rusty" Wittmann, 55, of Houston, Texas, died December 31, 2024. A private memorial service for Rusty will be held in Houston.  He was born March 24, 1969, to Alfred and Janette Wittmann in Center, Texas.  He graduated from Center High School in 1987.  Survivors include, Wife, Angela, of Houston; Son, Evan, of Houston; Mother, Janette Searcy Wittmann of Center.

JAMES ORVIS DAVIS
James Orvis Davis, 91, of Pineland, died January 25, 2025, at home.  Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  He was born on October 11, 1933, in the Sardis community of Shelby County, to Homer and Velma Davis.  He was an Army veteran who served during the Korean War.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Joan Oates Davis; Father, Homer Davis; Mother, Velma Davis; Sisters, Verna Mae Cooper, Dorothy Goodwin; Brother, MC Davis; Stepson, Rusty Mott; Daughter-in-law, Rebecca Davis.  Survivors include, Wife, Joyce Davis; Sister, Cassie Balch; Sister-in-law, Sue Garffer; Children, Robin Davis & wife Jeannette of McKinney, Roy Davis & wife Amy of Center, Jamie Davis of Memphis, Tennessee; Step-Children, Ricky Mott & wife Debbie of Pineland, Texas; Step Daughter-in-law, Sue Mott, Friendswood, Texas.
