Elder Wymon Bolton, 86, died February 17, 2025.  Interment was in Bennett Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County.  He  was born on October 31, 1938, to Mr. Leo Bolton and Katherine Bolton.   Survivors include, Wife, Hazel; Ten Children; Brothers, Ezra Bolton (Joyce), Melton Bolton; Sister, Lavern Barnes; A host of nieces and nephews and daughters-in-law and sons-in-law.

GLADYS YARBROUGH JENKINS
Gladys “Jo” Yarbrough Jenkins, 71, of Tenaha, died February 14, 2025. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Timpson, Texas.  She was born to George and LaMerle Yarbrough on December 5, 1953 in Center, Texas.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Rochester Jenkins; Stepson, Calvin Jenkins; Brother, Darly Yarbrough; Sister, Kathleen Moore. She attended Timpson Colored School at a young age, then attended Timpson High School.  Survivors include, Daughters, Latricia Patton, Houston, Texas, Brandy Gentry, Nacogdoches, Texas, Felicia Jenkins of San Bernardino, California; Sons, Xavier Gentry (Shunda), Nacogdoches, Texas, Frankie Gentry (Samantha), Timpson, Texas; Sister, Maristine Rhodes (Donald); Brother, George Ray Yarbrough, Timpson, Texas; Sisters-in-law, Joyce Yarbrough, Liz Yarbrough.

CLARA CAROLYN CROSS HOOKER
Clara Carolyn Cross Hooker, 89, lifelong resident of Tenaha, Texas, died February 20, 2025.  Interment was in Woods Community Cemetery. She was born on November 21, 1935, to Maurine Hairgrove Cross and Buel William Cross. Carolyn is survived by,
Children, Jennifer Hooker Cumbie & husband, Jim, Jeffrey Hooker & wife, Dannett.

JIMMY NORRIS JONES
Jimmy “Bo” Norris Jones, 73, of Center, Texas, died February 20, 2025, in Tyler, Texas.  Interment was in Buckner Cemetery, Center, Texas.  He was born on August 16, 1951, to Eugene Jones and Lela (Askew) Jones.  He attended Center Schools.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Sisters, Virginia Daughert, Daisy Jones; Brother, Elbert Jones; Brother-in-law, James Daugherty.  Survivors include, Sister, Louann Peeler & husband Richard of Silsbee; Sister-in-law, Patsy Jones of Carthage.

GERALD WAYNE SMITH
Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Smith, 87, of Tenaha, Texas, died February 24, 2025, in Tenaha, Texas.  Interment was in Restland Cemetery, Tenaha, Texas.  He was born on February 20, 1938, in Hughes Springs, Texas, to Homer Harvey Smith and Myrtis (Ogden) Smith.  He proudly served in the United States Navy for four years.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Barbara; Parents; Sister, Helen & brother-in-law, George Marshall; Brothers-in-law, Larry Alford, Kenny Donahoe; Sister-in-law, Brenda Daniels. Tilda Mae Bussey Holmon, 93, died February 15, 2025, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  She was born October 25, 1931 in Tenaha, Texas.

DERRICK DERRELL BARNES
Derrick Derrell Barnes, 52, died February 16, 2025, in Mansfield, Louisiana.  Interment was in Red Land Cemetery, San Augustine.  He was born September 7, 1972 in San Augustine, Texas.

LOUIS S. MULDROW
Louis S. Muldrow, 92, of Waco, died February 17, 2025, at his home.  A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1st, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Center, Texas.  He was born August 22, 1932, in Center, Texas, to Louis S. Muldrow, Sr. and Hazel Rogers Muldrow. He graduated from Center High School in 1949.  He served in the U. S. Army from 1953 until 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include, Son, John Muldrow; Daughters, Elizabeth Rigney & husband, Charlie, Catherine Parks &husband, Kyle; Sister, Alice Sue Rhodes & husband, Sammy; Mother of his children, Betty Flowers.

GEORGE EDWARD ROE
George Edward Roe, 87, of Center, died February 25, 2025, in Center.  Interment will be in Old Home Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born June 1, 1937, in the Paxton Community of Shelby County, to Sam Roe and Ester Barton Roe.  He retired from the United States Military, serving first in the Marine Corps and later in the Army.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Linda Roe; Parents; Sister, Linda Murray.  Survivors include, Children, Charles Roe & wife Cecelia, Cheryl Roe, Andrea Peacock & husband Courtland; Brothers, William Roe, Sr., Sam Roe, Jr.; Sister, Rachel Whitten & husband Doyce.
